Check out these leashes that I regularly use when training my pets -- and yours!

This is my go-to leash for all my own pets and client pets! There is just nothing more comfortable to hold than a broken in leather leash!

Signature K9 makes excellent, sturdy leather leashes. A braided leash is made of one piece of leather -- no need to worry about stitching or brads coming apart! I like the 3/4" size.

For cats and smaller dogs, this smaller leather leash with a smaller, lighter clip is ideal and just as buttery as the braided version.
 
 Since this version isn't braided, you'll want to keep an eye on the connections to make sure they remain sturdy. I've never had an issue with them!

Grab a couple of the cheapest, lightweight nylon leashes you can find! DO NOT use these leashes outside. Safety is our top priority when taking our pets off property, so one of the sturdy leashes listed above is a much better choice for adventures that take you outside your home.

Worried about chewing? These leashes can easily be sprayed with Bitter Apple Spray.

Full disclosure: I usually just buy my cheap, lightweight leashes from our local dollar store.
