Cleaning/Infection Control Protocols

Laura is vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19!
The restrictions and re-openings as a result of the pandemic are still ongoing and constantly changing. Please know that if any changes to this current plan need to happen, I will do my best to update you as soon as possible.
I've worked to create protocols and procedures to help ensure that we are not putting the health and safety of you, your pets, and all our families at risk during our training sessions.

In-Home Sessions with Owners Present: Training Consultations, Private Sessions, and Camp Follow Up Sessions​

In-home sessions can take place outdoors or indoors at your home - whichever you prefer!

Laura will use hand sanitizer prior to the beginning of the session. All humans present are encouraged to wash their hands and/or use hand sanitizer prior to the beginning of the session.

Leashes provided by KCAT will be disinfected between sessions.

All humans present are encouraged to wash their hands and/or use hand sanitizer after the session is completed. Laura will use hand sanitizer at the end of each session.

All collars, leashes, toys, and other training equipment used during the session will be cleaned with Effersan solution between sessions.
In-Home Services with No Owner Present: Day Camp Sessions​

Laura will use hand sanitizer directly before entering your home.

Each session can take place outdoors or indoors at your home - whichever you prefer!

All collars, leashes, toys, and other training equipment used during the session will be cleaned with Effersan solution between sessions.

Laura will use hand sanitizer after each session.
Between every session:

All tools will be sprayed down with Effersan solution (minimum contact time for disinfection is 5 minutes) and allowed to air dry (leashes, training collars, toys, currycomb, cots, agility equipment, etc.)

All cloth items/tools will be laundered (masks, slip leads, microfiber cloths, martingales, toys, etc.).
