I'm Laura King.
I'm a certified professional dog trainer and the founder of King’s Creatures Animal Training. With over a decade of experience training everything from penguins and lemurs to therapy dogs and adventure cats, I specialize in helping pet owners create calm, confident companions who are ready for life’s real-world adventures.
From quiet evenings at home to impactful therapy visits, I provide structured training designed to fit your lifestyle and elevate your pet’s potential.
Consultations
A calmer, more capable companion starts here.
Before we begin any training, every new client starts with a personalized consultation. This 45–60 minute session allows me to get to know you, your pet, and your goals so I can recommend the most effective, tailored program for your lifestyle.
Consultations are available either online via Zoom or in the comfort of your own home, with select openings on Fridays between 3:00 PM and 8:00 PM.
In Home Consultation
This 45–60 minute session takes place in the comfort of your own home. It’s the ideal way for me to observe your pet in their everyday environment and recommend a training plan tailored to your goals.
Investment: $100, collected at the end of the session via cash, check, or card.
Non-refundable.
Online Consultation
Prefer to meet virtually? This 45–60 minute consultation is conducted over Zoom and provides personalized insight and expert guidance wherever you're located. Online consultations are not offered for aggression.
Investment: $100, due at booking via credit card
Non-refundable.
Travel fees may apply outside of the Cedar Rapids area.
