PET SOCIALS

STRUCTURED SOCIALIZATION

at LOCAL BUSINESSES
supporting LIVING CREATURES MINISTRY
Pet Socials aren’t about “just socializing your dog”—they’re about reshaping the way we approach training in public. These events reflect a growing culture shift—one where socialization doesn’t mean overstimulation, and training doesn’t stop at home. No face-to-face greetings. No chaotic crowds. Just calm, purposeful work in a real-world setting, with a community that shares your goals.
Each month, King's Creatures hosts a Pet Social at a local pet-friendly business. These structured outings are available only to those who are actively training with King’s Creatures in person, have completed a training program, or are current KCAT Club members.
At a Pet Social, you and your pet will:
-
Practice calm, neutral behavior around other pets and people
-
Reinforce leash skills and real-life manners
-
Participate in training games and low-stakes challenges for fun
-
Support a local business that welcomes well-behaved pets
-
Connect with other training-minded handlers working toward therapy animal or adventure pet goals
While there’s no fee to participate, there's a suggested $5 donation per animal/handler team. All donations benefit Living Creatures Ministry, a nonprofit therapy animal program.
