King's Creatures

Team Club

Adventure

While the doors to the KCAT Club are closed, I'm keeping busy helping Adventure Teams in the Club learn to calmly and confidently enjoy all of life's adventures together – from hiking in the woods to passing their therapy animal certification tests!

It's ok! I've still got you.

In this guide, you'll learn about the training methods that have helped hundreds of dogs and cats (and their owners!) to calmly and confidently enjoy all of life's adventures AND get access to photo and video tutorials to help you implement those methods with your own pet.

PLUS you'll find shopping guides to ensure that you have everything you need when you head out on your next adventure together!

You'll also be added to the KCAT Club Waitlist so you and your pet can be the first Adventure Team in the doors when the Club does re-open.

Why wait?

I'm Laura!

I want to help you enjoy all of life's

adventures with your pet at your side!

I founded the KCAT Club to help owners learn to communicate clearly with their pets so that they can calmly and confidently enjoy any experience together.

Whether you are planning a camping trip with your cat or working on a therapy dog certification with your dog, this Club will help you break down your goals into easily manageable training plans and give you the accountability you need to help you stay on track!

I am a certified professional dog trainer, and I own King's Creatures Animal Training, a pet training company offering online and in person training anywhere in the USA.

I also serve as the National Coordinator for Living Creatures Ministry and the Director Oversight of the International Association of Canine Professionals Therapy Dog Committee.

Over the past decade, I have worked with parrots, chickens, raptors, lemurs, marmosets, sugar gliders, otters, snakes, lizards, deer, pigs, cows, goats, sheep, camels, donkeys, tarantulas, cockroaches, skunks, rats, raccoons, cats, and dogs -- just to name a few! I utilize that wide variety of animal training experience to work with people and their pets to become an Adventure Team that wholeheartedly trusts each other.

I live in Iowa with my husband, 3 dogs, and 2 cats. (You guessed it! Mai is one of those cats!) We love adventuring across the country with our pets, volunteering at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church, and spending lazy days with all 7 of us snuggled up on the couch.
