Most people who download this guide are in one of these situations:
-
Good at home, but not so good on walks
-
Friendly, but too excited
-
Listens at home, ignores you outside
-
Want to do therapy animal work, but don’t know where to start
-
Overwhelmed by all the training advice online
If that sounds like you, you’re in the right place!
Training a therapy animal is not about teaching a bunch of tricks. It’s about building calm, confident behavior in real life, step by step.
That’s exactly what the Trail to Success is designed to do.

Tiny Training Challenge
This week, practice Sit and Down in 3 different rooms of your house. Same cue, same expectations, different rooms.
Most pets learn that “Sit” means Sit in the kitchen, but not in the hallway, not in the yard, and definitely not when something interesting is happening. Therapy animals and adventure pets need to be able to listen in lots of different places, not just one.
Think of this as the first step toward real world training.

I'm really glad you're here. You and your pet are going to be an amazing Adventure Team!
Love, purrs, and wiggle butts,
